Lazy Oaf team up with DC Comics to celebrate the release of The Dark Knight Rises with this insane collection.
Those who read the blog regularly know I have a penchant for nearly all things comic book and super hero orientated (please see here and here). So it comes as no surprise that when a collection like this one encompasses fashion, comic books and superheroes it quite literally compels me to ramble on about it online (YOU’RE WELCOME).
The trouble with collections like this is they have a tendency to come off a little juvenile or in the worst case scenario just tacky and redundant. Lazy Oaf throws all of that out the window by being laid back enough to have fun and playfully mix sex with geekyness, basically making these pieces the garment equivalents of Adam Brody.
The collection released today comprises of a number of looks, my favourite of which are pictured above. The Women’s lookbook features repeat Batman logo print pattern on a body suit, leggings, body-con dress and Victoria shirt. It also features a sheer bat crop top (my personal fave) with a flock finish, the classic oversized women’s t-shirt and a bat wing dress inspired by Batgirl. I won’t blather on about the mens which is a 14 piece (not as sexy) strong collection
ERDEM Autumn/Winter 2012
My style vices have got to be layering and dark colours, so basically I hate Autumn/Winter… Not only is it cold and do I have seasonal depression but, I look real unflattering for months on end.
Don’t get me wrong, I can more than appreciate Autumn Winter collections (they’re INCREDIBLE) some of my favourite looks and pieces comprise of the components that I loathe on myself. However, I can never fully immerse myself in it, for fear of drowning under the weight of 10 pieces of apparel for ONE outfit. Also, I’m very skinny so black tends to make me look malnourished, not chic and svelte :(.
In comes Erdem, still championing the neon from summer and translating it into wearable elegant pieces that wouldn’t look amiss on Kate Middleton or Victoria ‘my steez is too much for you’ Beckham. I NEED that over-sized Dayglo paint splattered coat in my life! The sumptuous classic Mad Men esque 60’s tailoring accompanied by obnoxious colouring looks so delicious that I cannot believe I’m about to say this but, I’m sort of looking forward to Autumn/Winter 12.
That being said… LONG LIVE THE SUN.

EL-OH-EL
Miami Heat custom made halter dress, oh the hilarity! Utterly in love with the garish silver detailing! The dress can pretty much be summed up as a Lipsy (Tulisa’s FAVE) esque attempt to enter the world of basketball womenswear. So terrible that I’m captivated by it. (via @Vice_Style)

I figured I’d start letting you all come play dress up with me, by come play I mean show off some of my favourite ensembles.
Unfortunately I can’t actually wear this outside of my house because IT NEVER STOPS BEING COLD AND RAINY.
